WHO ARE WE?
The Mumineen Community Development Corporation (Mumineen CDC) is a nonprofit mosque-based faith-centered community development organization located in Indianapolis, Indiana that was created to provide social services to underserved communities in Indianapolis, Indiana and surrounding counties. Mumineen CDC is co-located inside Masjid Al Mumineen, the 3rd oldest Muslim house of worship in Indianapolis. The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Our organization is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by disadvantaged individuals and families in Indianapolis, and we work tirelessly to provide the support and resources they need to succeed. We offer a range of services designed to empower and assist individuals as they work to improve their circumstances and achieve their goals.
Mumineen is the Arabic word for "Believers". At Mumineen CDC, we believe that every person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and lead a fulfilling, productive life. We are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve and to building a stronger, healthier community for all.
Mumineen CDC is governed by a board of directors and managed by experienced professionals from the finance, nonprofit, and education sectors. The organization is legally formed in the State of Indiana.

Further, the mission of Mumineen Community Development Corporation (CDC) is to improve the quality of life for underserved populations in Indianapolis by providing social services, reentry services, financial literacy programs, and youth development programs that empower individuals to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Vision
The vision of Mumineen CDC is to create a more inclusive and equitable community in Indianapolis where every person has the opportunity to lead a fulfilling, productive life. We envision a world where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to succeed, and where disadvantaged individuals and families are empowered to break the cycle of poverty and achieve their goals.

MumineenCDC's external nonprofit partnerships help benefit Central Indiana's underserved demographic by providing access to a wider range of resources and support. Through these partnerships, we are able to share resources, expertise, and networks, enabling us to more effectively serve the needs of disadvantaged individuals and families in our community.
